Healing Well of Miriam

From my flesh I see God. –Job 19:26

There are ten attributes in the array of sefirot, which act as vessels of Divine Light.  The array can be understood parallel to the charka energy centers of the body for meditative purposes.  Of course, each sefira has its own unique vibration, but when seen with the chakras the balance of two parallels the corresponding chakra.

The term “malchut” literally means “kingdom.”  This is our revealed world, literally our home or place.  Parallel to the root chakra, it is here we are grounded in our place in the world.  We feel our feet in the dirt, putting down roots for our lives to be able to grow and blossom in the way unique to ourselves.  We find stability and meaning within ourselves, making it possible to relate to all around us.  On the other hand, however, maybe we are dissatisfied with where we are in life, making it difficult or distasteful to connect there.  Yet, something is there—in that place, with that family, in that location and situation—that our soul needed.  What?  For that answer, we turn to Adonai, Melech HaOlam (Master of the Universe), as our home, our place, our dwelling, grounding ourselves THERE…with a meditation:  

Adonai, Melech HaOlam, You are my abode.
